Local Government Emergency Medical Services Providers by County and Sources of Financing

This brings together information about EMS providers for Washington local jurisdictions; including interlocal contracting, the level of service available, and how that service is funded. Levy rate information is principally from the Department of Revenue (DOR). At this time information about the maximum rate and the number of the years of the levy is not available from a single source. That information is being filled in as information is provided. Where no information appears under financing method it is assumed that the source of funds is the general fund of cities and towns, the regular property tax levy for the Fire and Public Hospital Districts, and fees and interlocal payments where applicable. Ambulance fees are from the Association of Washington Cities Tax and User Fee Survey, 2006 edition and ordinance provisions.
