• Thurston County  - Moratorium on New Biomass Facilities - On December 21, 2010, the Thurston County Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 14449 to enact a one-year moratorium on new biomass facilities in unincorporated Thurston County.  On February 9, 2011, the Board of Commissioners decided to create a technical advisory group to help them form standards for reviewing proposed biomass projects in unincorporated Thurston County.
