RESOLUTION NO. 01-10

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF KENNEWICK APPOINTING A BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO THE KENNEWICK PUBLIC FACILITIES DISTRICT

WHEREAS, the City of Kennewick adopted Ordinance 3966 creating a public facilities district to be known as the Kennewick Public Facilities District, pursuant to the Laws of Washington, Chapter 165, Laws of 1999, Codified as Chapter 35.57 of the Revised Code of Washington on the 8th day of December, 2000; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENNEWICK, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. That the following people be appointed to the Kennewick Public Facilities District Board of Directors:

    Dean Strawn, for a four-year term;
    Steve Young, for a four-year term;
    Edward Allen, for a three-year term;
    Calvin Dudney, for a two-year term;
    Barbara Johnson, for a one-year term;

Section 2. The Kennewick Public Facilities District Board of Directors shall meet on or after March 6, 2001, in an organizational meeting to select its officers and to begin exploring the financing, acquisition, building, ownership and operation of a regional center as provided in RCW 35.57.

PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENNEWICK, WASHINGTON, this 6th day of March, 2001, and signed in authentication of its passage this 6th day of March, 2001.
