(1) The following chapters of the King County Code (KCC) are hereby adopted by reference as if set forth in full. A copy of the referenced chapters of the King County Code shall be kept on file with the City Clerk for review.

6.03.020 Animal control authority.

The King County Animal Control Department is designated by this reference as the agency authorized to enforce the animal control regulations.

King County animal control officers shall be utilized for the enforcement of this chapter and these officers shall include any individuals employed, contracted or appointed by the animal control authority for the purpose of aiding in the enforcement of this chapter or any other law or ordinance relating to the licensing, control or seizure and impoundment of animals. Any State or municipal peace officer, sheriff, constable or other employee in such position shall also have authority to enforce the regulations of this chapter or any other applicable law or ordinance relating to the regulation of animals in the City. 6.03.030 Penalties and procedures for enforcement.

Any violation of this chapter shall be subject to the applicable penalty provisions of the King County Code which shall include but not be limited to sections 11.04.170 through 11.04.200. (Ord. 32 § 3, 1993)

6.03.040 Conflicting ordinances.

In the event any provision of this chapter conflicts with a provision of the zoning code, any subsequent amendment thereto, the provisions of the zoning code shall control. (Ord. 32 § 4, 1993)
