ELECTION PRECINCT OFFICERS

2.65.010 Fees.

The Whatcom County council establishes the precinct election officers to receive the following fees for service at each election:

Officer	Fees for Service
Judge	State minimum hourly wage for 15 hours rounded to the nearest dollar
Inspector	State minimum hourly wage plus 45 cents per hour for 17 hours rounded to the nearest dollar
Attending election classes	Two hours minimum wage

2.65.020 Mileage rate.

Mileage in excess of 150 miles for a round trip shall be paid at the mileage rate set by state law and county ordinance per mile. (Ord. 89-13 (part); Ord. 88-46 (part)).

2.65.030 Fees – Less than full day.

An election precinct officer who works less than a full election day will receive fees as follows:

Inspector	State minimum wage per hour plus 45 cents per hour
Judge	State minimum wage per hour
