What other requirements apply to non-DOT
containers? (1) Aboveground containers must be kept properly
painted.
(2) Vaporizers for internal combustion engines must meet the
requirements of WAC 296-307-42515.
(3) Gas regulating and mixing equipment for internal
combustion engines must meet the requirements of WAC 296-307-42517.
(4) Where vaporized gas on the low-pressure side of the
system may condense to a liquid at normal operating temperatures
and pressures, means must be provided to revaporize condensate.
(5) You must protect LP-gas systems against damage from
vehicular traffic.
(6) Avoid the use of pits when possible, except pits fitted
with automatic flammable vapor detecting devices. No drains or
blowoff lines must be directed into or in proximity to sewer
systems used for other purposes.
