What other miscellaneous requirements
apply to wiring methods? (1) Metal raceways, cable armor, and
other metal enclosures for conductors must be metallically joined
into a continuous electric conductor and must be connected to all
boxes, fittings, and cabinets to provide effective electrical
continuity.
(2) All wiring systems are prohibited from being installed
in ducts used to transport dust, loose stock or flammable vapors.

duct used for vapor removal or for ventilation of commercial-type
cooking equipment, or in any shaft containing only such ducts.
