WAC 296-115-030
Master's examination and licensing. (1)
The registered owner of passenger vessels or barges for hire
is responsible to obtain an operator's license from the United
States Coast Guard or the department for the master or
operator of each vessel. A physical examination will be
required.
(2) The department may recommend suspension or revocation
of a license to the United States Coast Guard for
intemperance, incompetence, or a negligent, reckless, or
willful disregard for duty.
