What is the minimum working space
required in machine rooms? (1) In machine rooms with
equipment requiring maintenance and inspection, an
eighteen-inch working space must be established.
(2) There must be a minimum of eighteen inches working
space (other than the required controller panel clearances) on
one of the four sides of the hydraulic tank.
(3) The requirements in subsections (1) and (2) of this
section do not supersede NFPA 70.
(4) The side with the hydraulic outlet pipe is not
considered usable working space.
