Cross-haul systems. (1) In cross-haul (parbuckle) or roll-on loading systems,
the skid timbers must be strong enough to support the logs being
loaded and long enough to remain in place while the log is being
loaded.
(2) Loaders on cross-haul systems must work beyond the ends
of the logs being loaded.
