WAC 296-05-311
On-the-job training programs. On-the-job
training programs may be set up in the same manner as
apprenticeship programs with any exceptions authorized by the
WSATC. However, no on-the-job training program must be
established or authorized where there is a parallel
apprenticeship program in existence. An on-the-job training
program shall be any program that requires two thousand or less
hours of employment for completion. All of the rules in this
chapter that apply to apprenticeship agreements and programs also
apply to on-the-job training programs except on-the-job training
programs will be approved by the supervisor subject to the review
of the WSATC.
A sample standard for an on-the-job training program is
available from the supervisor.
