WAC 196-12-030
Examinations. Examinations administered
by the board, or on their behalf, will be written or oral or
both to enable the board to evaluate an applicant's knowledge
in the fundamentals of engineering; principles and practice of
engineering; and law and ethics.
If a professional engineer holding a current registration
in the state of Washington wants to become licensed in an
additional branch of engineering, they must pass the
principles and practice examination for each branch.
