Notification of criminal arrest. A
student is responsible for notifying the university of any
off-campus arrest.
When the office of student rights and responsibilities
(OSRR) is informed of the arrest of a student, the university
may send a letter to the student requiring that he or she make
an appointment for an interview with the OSRR. During this
interview, the director of OSRR shall discuss with the
student:
(1) The facts involved in the student's arrest;
(2) The student's obligation to keep the university
informed of the progress of the criminal charge(s); and
(3) The student's obligation to advise the university of
the final disposition of the criminal charge(s).
The university will cooperate fully with law enforcement
and other agencies administering a corrective or
rehabilitative program for the student. The university
reserves the right to initiate concurrent disciplinary action.
