WAC 137-32-025
Intensive management status. An inmate
will be placed on intensive management status in accordance
with the following procedures:
(1) The hearing officer may, after conducting a formal
hearing, recommend to the superintendent that the inmate be
placed on intensive management status stating the reasons
therefore.
(2) The superintendent/designee will review the hearing
officer's recommendation, and if approved will forward a copy
thereof to the deputy secretary/designee for final approval.
(3) The cases of all inmates assigned to intensive
management status will have an assessment completed within the
first thirty days. Reviews by the hearing officer will be
held at intervals not to exceed thirty days.
Formal classification meetings will be held at intervals
not to exceed one hundred eighty days.
