Final appeal. The student may make a
final appeal in writing to the president within ten
instructional days following the postmark on the written
notification of the action taken by the student rights and
responsibilities committee. The president may suspend any
disciplinary action pending determination of the merits of the
findings, conclusions and disciplinary actions imposed. The
president shall base the decision on the written appeal of the
student, the official written record of the case and any
reports or recommendations of the student rights and
responsibilities committee, and/or of the dean who conducted
the original hearing. The decision of the president is final.
