Disciplinary committee. (1) The
committee shall be a standing committee composed of one
administrator appointed by the president, two faculty members
selected by the college faculty association and two students
selected by the student government.
(2) If any member of the committee is unable to consider
a particular disciplinary proceeding for any reason including
a conflict of interest, such member shall be temporarily
replaced by a student or faculty member as appropriate
pursuant to the procedure established in this section.
(3) The disciplinary committee shall conduct such hearing
within twenty working days after disciplinary action has been
referred to such committee and shall give the student charged
with violation of the rules of student conduct a minimum
notice of five working days of said hearing as specified
within the following section. With the mutual agreement of
the parties, the hearing date may be continued beyond the
twenty working day limit.
