WAC 132Q-30-320
Interim suspension. (1) In certain
circumstances, the chief student services officer may impose
an interim suspension from college prior to the student
conduct board hearing. Interim suspension may be imposed
only:
(a) In situations involving an immediate danger to the
health, safety, or welfare of members of CCS or the public at
large;
(b) To ensure the student's own physical safety and
well-being; or
(c) If the student poses an ongoing threat of disruption
to, or interference with, the operations of the college.
(2) During the interim suspension, a student may be
denied access to classes, activities and privileges, as the
chief student services officer determines.
(3) The interim suspension shall not replace the regular
discipline process, which shall proceed as quickly as feasible
in light of the interim suspension.
