WAC 132P-160-029
Resident status. In determining
resident status, students are considered to be residents if
they have lived in the state for one year prior to
registration and also meet the requirements as outlined in
chapter 28.15 RCW. Burden of proof of domicile rests with the
student. The registrar will review the questionnaire and will
notify the student in writing of the decision, which is
subject to appeal. Students who are not residents of the
state of Washington are subject to the current nonresident
rate for tuition and fees.
