WAC 132P-20-060
Violation of drug laws -- College involvement -- Hearing committee. Where college regulations do not apply, and when a student is charged with violation of public or criminal law regarding drugs, the college may become involved only at the student's request. In no case should college involvement include acceptance of disciplinary responsibility in lieu of criminal action. The hearing committee may reexamine students convicted by civil authority where the welfare of other students might be jeopardized. Only the hearing committee has the authority to call for such reexamination.
