Student responsibilities. Students who
choose to attend Pierce College also choose to actively
participate in the learning process offered by the college.
The college is responsible for providing an educational
environment rich in the high quality resources needed by
students to attain their educational goals. In return, the
college has the expectation that each student shall assume
responsibility for the following:
(1) Become knowledgeable of and adhere to policies,
practices, procedures and rules of the college and its
departments;
(2) Practice personal and academic integrity;
(3) Respect the dignity, rights and property of all
persons;
(4) Strive to learn from differences in people, ideas and
opinions;
(5) Participate actively in the learning process, in and
out of the classroom;
(6) Refrain from and discourage behaviors which undermine
the respect all Pierce College community members deserve;
(7) Abide by the standards set forth in the student
rights and responsibilities/code of conduct policy.
