WAC 132K-125-200
Judicial authority. (1) All disciplinary
action in which there is a recommendation that a student be
suspended or expelled from the college shall be acted upon by the
president as defined in WAC 132K-125-040(7).
(2) Administration of this chapter is the responsibility of
the executive dean of student services.
(3) The instructor is responsible for conduct in the
classroom and is authorized to take such steps as are reasonably
necessary when behavior of the student interrupts the normal
classroom procedure. When such behavior may be as serious as to
result in summary suspension from the class, the instructor must
report the infraction in writing to the executive dean of student
services within twenty-four hours of the infraction.
(4) The student has the right to appeal any disciplinary
action of an instructor to the executive dean of students as in
accordance with the procedures set forth in WAC 132K-125-230
through 132K-125-280.
