WAC 132H-120-040
Jurisdiction. (1) All rules herein
adopted concerning student conduct and discipline shall apply
to every student whenever said student is participating in a
distance education class or event, or is attending a class, or
is present in any college facility, or whenever said student
is engaged in or present at any college-related activity
whether occurring on or off college facilities.
(2) Faculty members, other college employees, and members
of the public who breach or aid or abet another in the breach
of any provision of this chapter shall be subject to
(a) Possible prosecution under the state criminal law;
(b) Any other civil or criminal liability for which
remedies are available to the public; or
(c) Appropriate disciplinary action pursuant to the state
of Washington higher education personnel board or the
district's policies and regulations.
(d) Restriction from entry to any college property or
facilities, the violation of which could result in criminal
trespass;
(3) The college may carry out any disciplinary
proceedings prior to, simultaneously, or following civil or
criminal proceedings in a court of law.
