The board of trustees. The government of
Community College District No. 1 (Peninsula College) is vested in
a five-person board of trustees. The trustees are appointed by
the governor and serve five-year terms and/or until their
successors are appointed. At its annual October meeting, the
board elects a chairperson and vice-chairperson who serve for a
term of one year and until their successors are elected from the
membership of the board.
