WAC 106-116-513   Procedure -- Infractions and service thereof.  Upon probable cause to believe that a violation of these regulations has occurred, an appropriate notice of infraction may be issued setting forth the date, the approximate time, the locality, and the nature of the violation. Such notice may be served by delivering or attaching a copy thereof to the alleged violator, or by placing a copy thereof in some prominent place within or upon the vehicle. Service by mail shall be accomplished by placing a copy of the notice in the mail addressed to the alleged violator.
