The municipal research service center, an entity serving local governments, provides a public records handbook at www.mrsc.org/Publications/prdpub04.pdf. A requestor's organization, the Washington Coalition for Open Government, has materials on its site at www.washingtoncog.org.

     The Washington State Bar Association is publishing a twenty-two-chapter deskbook on public records in 2006. It will be available for purchase at www.wsba.org.
