Medication--Negotiated care plan. The
adult family home must ensure that each resident's negotiated
care plan addresses:
(1) The amount of medication assistance needed by each
resident, including but not limited to:
(a) The reasons why a resident needs that amount of
medication assistance; and
(b) When there is a need for the resident to have more
than one type of medication assistance.
(2) How the resident will get their medications when the
resident is away from the home or when a family member or
resident representative is assisting with medications is not
available.
