Make sure appropriate masks, eye
protection, and face shields are worn.
You must:
• Make sure either chin-length face shields or a
combination of masks and eye protection are used, whenever
splashes, spray, spatter, or droplets of blood or other
potentially infectious materials (OPIM) may be generated and
eyes, nose, or mouth contamination can be reasonably
anticipated.
Note:
Examples of eye protection devices include goggles and glasses with solid side shields.
