Control employee exposure. Summary.
Your responsibility:
To use feasible controls to eliminate or minimize
occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious
materials (OPIM).
IMPORTANT:
If occupational exposure remains after implementing these
controls, personal protective equipment must be used. See WAC 296-823-150, Personal protective equipment.
