WAC 230-03-270
Working as a card room employee before
receiving a license. (1) If you have applied for a card room
employee license, you may perform card room duties before
receiving the license if you have waited at least ten days
from the date we received your application and fees.
(2) We may waive the ten-day waiting period if:
(a) Your employer can demonstrate an urgent and
unexpected need for you as an employee; and
(b) Your employer's business would close or the control
structure of the activity would be weakened if we failed to
grant such waiver; and
(c) Your employer could not control the circumstances
causing the need for a waiver; and
(d) You pay the fee for the waiver.
(3) If you meet any of the conditions of RCW 9.46.158,
you must not perform the duties of a card room employee until
you receive a license.
(4) If you choose to perform the duties of a card room
employee before receiving your license, we will keep the
entire application fee regardless of the outcome of your
application.
