16.08.030 Uniformity of Application.
The provisions of this title relating to the operation of vehicles shall be applicable and uniform upon all persons operating vehicles upon the public highways of this city, except as otherwise specifically provided.

16.08.050 Duties of the Traffic Engineer.
The street director shall have the authority to erect all traffic regulatory signs required by this code, whether the authority is expressly contained in a section within this title or not.

16.08.051 Regulating and Directing Traffic.
The chief of police and all members of the police department are authorized and empowered to direct, control, restrict and regulate, in the interest of public safety, the movement of pedestrians, vehicles and traffic of every kind within this city and may, when necessary, divert or exclude all such traffic from any public street or highway within this city.

16.08.070 Nonresidents, Application To.
Subject to compliance with this title, and acceptance of its provisions, nonresident owners and operators of vehicles are granted the privilege of using the public streets of the city, and the use of such public streets shall be deemed and construed to be an acceptance by such nonresident owners and operators of the provisions of this title.

16.08.190 Jurisdiction of Judges of Municipal Court.
Every district and municipal court judge shall have concurrent jurisdiction with superior court judges of the state for all violations of the provisions of this title and may impose any punishment provided therefor.
