7.07.010 Payment Authorized.

The payment of a reward in money to any person, except law enforcement officers, who furnishes information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person committing criminal or unlawful acts to the injury or loss to the City is authorized.

7.07.020 Approval Procedure.

After the occurrence of an incident, upon the report of the mayor, the city council may by resolution approve the offer of a reward in such amount as the council may determine, which offer shall remain in effect for a time fixed in the resolution or until the person or persons responsible have been convicted.
