There is established within the government of the City the department of municipal court, which shall be a separate department of the City. In addition to the ordinary clerical functions, the municipal court has a probation department and a parking violations bureau.

5.04.020 Appointment of Administrator.

The district court judges appoint the administrator of the district court. The administrator has the authority to appoint a deputy administrator who serves as clerk of the municipal court.

5.04.030 Court Personnel.

Except that the clerk is appointed by the court administrator, all personnel of the municipal court department are, for all purposes, employees of the City.
