14.05.010 Appointment of Subdivision Authority

Pursuant to interlocal agreement, King County and the Division of Building and Land Development are hereby designated as agent for the City with full authority to receive and process applications for subdivisions and short subdivisions, private street plats, condominium site developments, and related applications, and to collect from applicants the filing and other fees, together with handling fees, imposed by King County. (Ord. 90-1020 § 1)

Chapter 19.04 of the King County Code as now in effect, and as may subsequently be amended, is hereby adopted by reference. (Ord. 90-1020 § 2)

14.05.065 Responsibility for Private Road Signs

It shall be a requirement in all short subdivisions containing three (3) or more lots, where any two (2) or more of the lots are served by and depend on ingress and egress through a private road, that the owner(s) of the property of the short subdivision pay to the City the sum of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00), to be deposited into the street maintenance fund, for the initial installation of a street sign identifying the private road, with the sign to be installed by the Public Works Department, and which sign shall indicate the name of the private road as assigned by the City, and which sign shall identify the road as a “private road.” This fee shall be paid prior to the approval of the short subdivision. This fee shall also be identified and set forth in the City’s Schedule of Fees. (Ord. 93-1028 § 1)

14.05.900 Violations – Penalties

Chapter 19.40 of the King County Code as now in effect, and as may subsequently be amended, is hereby adopted by reference, except that any violation of this chapter, of Title 19 of the King County Code adopted by reference, or of any rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, shall, in addition to civil penalties, remedies and injunctions, be a violation of a City ordinance and any person found guilty thereof shall be subject to punishment by fine of not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) or imprisonment for a term not in excess of one (1) year, or both.
