2.40.010   Creation.

Pursuant to Chapter 36.68 RCW, a County parks and recreation board is created, consisting of seven members who shall have the powers and perform the duties as prescribed in Chapter 36.68 RCW. (Res. 58-1956. Formerly 2.48.010)

2.40.020   Membership.

The membership of said board is composed of seven members who shall be appointed by the board of County commissioners to serve without compensation. (Res. 58-1956. Formerly 2.48.020)

2.40.030   Annual report.

Said board shall annually, at the August meeting of the board of County commissioners, submit an annual report of the status of the several parks. (Res. 58-1956. Formerly 2.48.030)

2.40.040   Policy/operations manual.

The board of County commissioners hereby adopts the policy/operations manual of the San Juan County park board attached as "Exhibit A" to the resolution codified in this section. (Res. 141-1993)
