RCW 46.12.350
Assignment of new serial number. (Effective until July 1, 2011. Recodified as RCW 46.12.745.)

An identification number shall be assigned to any article impounded pursuant to RCW 46.12.310 in accordance with the rules promulgated by the department of licensing prior to:

     (1) The release of the article from the custody of the seizing agency; or

     (2) The use of the article by the seizing agency.
