Legal owner not liable for acts of registered owner. (Effective until July 1, 2011. Recodified as RCW 46.12.620.)

The person, firm, copartnership, association or corporation to whom a certificate of ownership shall have been issued shall not thereby incur liability or be responsible for damage, or otherwise, resulting from any act or contract made by the registered owner or by any other person acting for, or by or under the authority of such registered owner.
