RCW 86.16.045 Adoption of ordinances or requirements that
exceed minimum federal requirements.
A county, city, or town may
adopt floodplain management ordinances or requirements that
exceed the minimum federal requirements of the national flood
insurance program without following the procedures provided in
RCW 86.16.031(8).
