Inability to contribute to cost no bar to
admission -- Department may limit admissions.
The department shall
not refuse admission for diagnosis, evaluation, guidance or
treatment to any applicant because it is determined that the
applicant is financially unable to contribute fully or in part to
the cost of any services or facilities available under the program
on alcoholism.
The department may limit admissions of such applicants or
modify its programs in order to ensure that expenditures for
services or programs do not exceed amounts appropriated by the
legislature and are allocated by the department for such services
or programs. The department may establish admission priorities in
the event that the number of eligible applicants exceeds the limits
set by the department.
