The award for the teacher educator shall include:

     (1) A certificate presented to the teacher educator by the governor, the chair of the professional educator standards board, and the superintendent of public instruction at a public ceremony; and

     (2) A grant to the professional education advisory board of the institution from which the teacher educator is selected, which grant shall not exceed two thousand five hundred dollars and which grant shall be awarded under RCW 28A.625.390.
