The application of the corporation for a certificate
of authority shall be delivered to the secretary of state.
If the secretary of state finds that such application
conforms to law, the secretary of state shall, when all fees have
been paid as in this chapter prescribed:
(1) Endorse on each of the records the word "Filed," and the
date of the filing.
(2) File the application and the copy of the articles of
incorporation and amendments thereto.
(3) Issue a certificate of authority to conduct affairs in
this state.
An exact or conformed copy of the application bearing the
filing endorsement affixed thereto by the secretary of state,
shall be returned to the corporation or its representative.
