Neither the director nor any employees, shall be interested in any real estate business regulated by chapter 139, Laws of 1972 ex. sess.: PROVIDED, That if any real estate broker, associate real estate broker, or salesman is employed by the director or by the commission as an employee, the license of such broker, associate real estate broker, or salesman shall not be revoked, suspended, or canceled by reason thereof.
