GIFTS AND DEDICATIONS OF PROPERTY

2.105.010 Real property.

Offers of gifts or purported gifts of real property, including dedications for right-of-way or other public purposes, shall be reviewed by the mayor who shall make a recommendation to city council regarding acceptance. Council only shall be authorized to accept gifts of real property. (Ord. 1680-90 § 1, 1990)

2.105.020 Personal property.

The mayor is authorized to conditionally accept or reject gifts of personal property. The mayor shall report all items conditionally accepted within thirty days of receipt and ten days thereafter, the council shall have authority to reject any gift of personal property. (Ord. 1680-90 § 2, 1990)

2.105.030 Acknowledgment.

All gifts shall be appropriately acknowledged. (Ord. 1680-90 § 3, 1990)
