3.32.010 Open space taxation applications, fees.

The application fee for applicants for open space taxation relief pursuant to Chapter 84.34 RCW for lands lying within the boundaries of the city of Edmonds shall be $50.00 plus $1.00 per acre of land, or any portion of one acre for land areas constituting a fractional portion of an acre. Such fees shall be collected by the Snohomish County assessor who shall transmit the same to the city of Edmonds together with a copy of the application, which application shall be processed by the city of Edmonds as in the case of an amendment to the comprehensive land use plan. In the event the application is denied in whole or in part, the $50.00 fee shall not be refunded but the $1.00 acreage fee shall be refunded pro rata at the rate of $1.00 per acre for any land for which the application is denied.
