18.102.010 Required – Issuance.
In addition to all other permits and city approval required by this title, a use and occupancy permit shall be required before occupancy, for each principal structure erected on each lot, parcel or property. Such permit shall be issued by the building official upon determination of compliance with the requirements of this title and the Uniform Building Code. (Ord. 92-08 § 2, 1992)
18.102.020 Applications generally.
Applications under this title shall be made by the property owner, contract purchaser, or an agent who has been designated as such in writing. The address indicated on the application shall be, for the purposes of this title, the address of the applicant, and all correspondence relating to the application shall be directed to that address. The applicant or designated representative must be present at any public meeting that has been publicly advertised to hear the application or when the applicant has been personally notified of such a meeting.
