JOB SUMMARY
Create, update and maintain complex maps which depict property lines, plats, topography, zoning, traffic and utility systems and other special features of the City.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintains document, map and graphics files.
· Operates and maintains map reproduction equipment and supplies.
· Executes a variety of base and specialty maps.
· Assembles and prepares line and color graphics using computer aided or manual techniques.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Works under the general supervision.
No formal supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS
Two years vocational or college level training in graphics and drafting plus some years related work experience.
