The Good Government Group (GGG) is please to announce a new Internet distribution and auction program for governmental agencies throughout Washington.

In partnership with the Public Technology Institute (PTI) and the Good Government Group, GovDeals is conducting online surplus equipment auctions that provide Washington government agencies the opportunity to acquire surplus items initially from the City of Seattle, and in the immediate future from any governmental agency in Washington.

The auction site is a tiered distribution of surplus assets that allows governmental agencies in Washington to have the first opportunity to acquire surplus assets from other governmental agencies in Washington. Any remaining surplus assets will be offered for public auction.

You or your agency's designated representative can logon to view and purchase desired items. Your agency will be responsible for transportation arrangements.

Follow the enclosed step-by-step instructions to register on GovDeals after clicking on this hyperlink: http://www.govdeals.com/. To view items restricted to governmental agencies in the State of Washington, select "Modify Profile", select the "Organization" drop down box, select "Washington State and local government agencies", and select "Update". Select "View Profile" and you will be able to view available surplus assets.
