- National Low Income Housing Coalition - Organization dedicated to achieving socially just public policy that assures people with the lowest incomes have affordable and decent homes.
- PolicyLink, Affordable Housing Tool Group - National research and action institute advancing economic and social equity; part of equitable development toolkit.

- A Regional Coalition for Housing (ARCH) - an organization created by Eastside cities and King County to preserve and increase the supply of housing for low and moderate income households in East King County.
- Housing Development Consortium of Seattle-King County - Trade association for nonprofits and others developing and operating affordable housing throughout Seattle and King County
- Low Income Housing Institute - Develops, owns and operates housing for the benefit of low-income, homeless and formerly homeless people in Washington State; advocates for just housing; and administers a range of supportive service programs.
