Beginning Governmental BudgetingPresenter(s): Harry L. Oestreich, CGFM This class will provide a sound introductory foundation in governmental budgeting. The class will cover the philosophic, policy and legal aspects of budgeting, covering the budget process from a practical perspective, with emphasis on revenue forecasting techniques and methods. The class will also cover methods of projecting expenditures and processes to assist in reducing and balancing the budget. Each concept will be illustrated with a practical exercise that will assist the participant in applying the course materials. CPE - 8 hours Registration fee is $100 (includes lunch) Registration opens at 7:30 AM. Class begins at 8:00 AM and ends at 4:30 PM.
