CAFR Preparation (Two-Day Course)

This two-day class is an in-depth review of the components of a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). Participants will study the individual pieces of the CAFR in detail, focusing on requirements, recommendations, and best practices. Common CAFR reporting problems, as identified by the GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting program, will also be reviewed. Specific attention will be given to the requirements of GASB Statement No. 44, ”Economic Condition Reporting: The Statistical Section.” The class will be great for both entities that are considering preparing a CAFR for the first time, as well as for those veterans that are interested in improving their process.

CPE - 16 hours
Registration fee is $250 (includes lunch)
Registration opens at 7:45 AM. Class begins at 8:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM.
