Intermediate Level Governmental Accounting

This seminar is designed for those that are relatively familiar with the governmental accounting and financial reporting environment (i.e., it assumes a basic understanding of the fund structure). After a brief review of the fund structure, the majority of the lass focuses on transactions unique to each of the fund types, as well as a more detailed review of both governmental-wide and fund financial statements. Common reporting problems are reviewed throughout the class, as are new GASB pronouncements that affect financial reporting. The contents of a comprehensive annual financial report will be discussed in greater details.

This will give you an opportunity to preview the material in advance and save time and expense for our coordinators. No copies will be available, so please remember to print these and bring them to the class with you!
